Skye-Kin's research covers the Skye parishes of Duirinish and Bracadale.
Duirinish:
- Dunvegan: the seat of the Clan MacLeod since 1200, with the townships of Kilmuir and Roskhill, Orbost and Roag, Harlosh and Vatten to the south, and Claigan to the north
- Glendale: from Skinidin, Colbost and Totaig, to Borreraig, historical home of the MacCrimmon pipers, and to Galtrigill in the north, and to the west, Fasach and Ferinquarrie, Lephin, Holmisdale and Milovaig, Ramasaig and Lorgil
- Waternish: from Fairy Bridge through Bay, Lusta, Stein, Dunhallin, to Trumpan and Ardmore, Geary and Gillen
- Edinbane: including the estates of Greshornish and Lyndale, and the townships of Flashader, Kildonan and Braebost
Bracadale:
- Struan: including Ebost and Ullinish, Gesto and Drynoch, Balmeanach and Ose
- Minginish: including the townships of Talisker, Glenbrittle and Carbost, and historical Rhuandunan
