north-western parishes of Duirinish and Bracadale on the Isle of Skye.
Duirinish Parish:

Dunvegan: seat of the Clan MacLeod
since 1200, with Kilmuir and Roskhill, Orbost and Roag, Harlosh and
Vatten to the south and
Claigan to the north.

Glendale: from Skinidin and Colbost
through Fasach, Ferniquire, Lephin and Milovaig, to Ramasaig, Lorgill
and Neist Point, then back to Totaig and Borreraig, the
historical home of
the MacCrimmon piping school, and finally on to Galtrigill.

Waternish: from Fairy Bridge out
along Loch Bay to Stein, Dunhallin, Trumpan, Ardmore and then back along Loch
Greshornish to Geary and Gillen.

Edinbane:
the name meaning 'fair of face', with Greshornish, Flashader and
Kildonan nearby.
