Marjorie MacInnes is the expertise behind Skye-Kin, driven by a passion for unravelling the genealogical web of family history and connections that cover the Duirinish and Bracadale areas of north-west Skye. 
Born at Claigan near Dunvegan, Marjorie's interest in local family history was kindled thirty years ago. Initially researching her own family roots, curiosity deepened as her research extended to her husband's family from the Glendale area of Skye. 
Marjorie has gained a Certificate in Local History Studies from Aberdeen University, which included a dissertation on the history of Claigan, and a Certificate in Scottish Family History from Stirling University. Drawing on a wealth of accumulated information and local knowledge, Marjorie now offers her professional expertise and services through Skye-Kin for anyone wishing to trace their roots in north and west Skye. |
